In the summer of 2018, Eric Mangen traveled to Greensboro, North Carolina to paint a large real estate project using a fire truck as his paint brush. During his stay, Eric also painted in an ephemeral studio set up a couple of blocks away from his graffiti project. In the first week, 12 paintings were completed! After Greensboro, he travelled to New York to take some time off and enjoy the City. While there, Eric set up his studio in the streets of the Lower East Side to create 13 more paintings.

On the 17th of November 2018 all of The American Paintings  have been reunited in an exhibition at the Paul Wurth InCub space.
